SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW
The SSA is pleased to announce the continuation of the scholarship program for new CFI-Gs. This successful program was begun in 2019 with generous donations from John Weber and others. It is being continued with additional funding from other donors and the SSA. The goal is to grow the sport through stronger Clubs and Commercial Operators with enthusiastic flight instruction and training programs. The SSA hopes these scholarships will provide an incentive to individuals who might otherwise not begin their CFI-G training, or who are unlikely to begin their CFI-G training for financial reasons.
